Lindsey is a skilled Yoga professional who has studied yoga for 12 years with various teachers and styles. Lindsey was first introduced to yoga at the age of 18 when a disk injury prevented her from walking or standing for more than five minutes at a time. In combination with a discectomy procedure Lindsey turned to yoga and witnessed its strong healing power. 10 years later Lindsey made the decision to leave her legal job feeling drained from the emotional toll it had taken on her. She planned a three-month trip to Southeast Asia, which included a stay at an Ashram in India. It was there that Lindsey was reintroduced to the healing powers of yoga, both body and mind. Since her return to the States she has become passionate, enthusiastic and motivated to share all the wonders that yoga has offered her. In 2013 she completed the Chicago Marathon, an amazing feat as doctors told her at 18 she may never run again. Lindsey’s passion for yoga has supported her ability to run and she loves to share her insights with others.

In 2013 Lindsey completed her 200 hour yoga teacher training certification at Moksha Yoga Center in Chicago, Illinois. Since then Lindsey completed her 85 hour pre-natal certification through the Amala School of Prenatal Yoga as well as a restorative yoga certification through The Yapana Way, taught by Leeann Carey.  She has been blessed to learn and practice with amazing teachers including, Alie McManus, Tias Little, Travis Eliot, Kathryn Budig, Aadil Palkhlvala, and Daren Friesen.

Lindsey’s teaching is greatly influenced by traditional hatha yoga, vinyasa flow, power yoga and restorative styles of yoga. Lindsey likes to create classes that challenge students to use their bodies, breath and minds to strengthen, focus and ground themselves in the present moment.
