“At age 70 I knew I needed to improve my flexibility and balance if I wanted to stay active. Yoga seemed like the ideal exercise but my previous experiences with yoga were terrible-too much pain, always playing catch-up with the more experienced students in regular classes and certainly not enjoying myself. I accidently learned about Lindsey and decided to take a few private lessons. She was so wonderful. She made sure I understood that I didn’t have to ever be in pain and that it was OK to go my own pace, showing me ways to back off certain poses if necessary. Even after the first lesson I began to “get it” as to why yoga is so wonderful. I just felt great. She went to a great deal of effort documenting the routines and was really encouraging. I now am attending yoga lessons at a studio and all that she taught me has made me feel I can do it and reap all the benefits but also enjoy myself.” – Chris-Ellyn J.
